Instagram Handle - @mr_me_too_indy
Currently Based in: United States, Indiana
Jeermal Sylvester is a former D1 and professional athlete and was a member of the affluent Indiana All-Star Basketball team in 1990. Sylvester earned a full ride basketball scholarship to Ball State University where he was the 1st Team All- Conference in 1993 and 1994. Sylvester was selected to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team in 2015. Bad decisions and tempers caused him to leave school during his senior year for a fighting incident with only six classes remaining to complete his degree. After four years of playing basketball professionally overseas, a knee injury ended his professional career. This forced Sylvester to think about what’s NEXT and utilize what he had learned from the game to take back control of my life. By doing so, Sylvester was able to go back to school after 24 years and complete a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. Now, Sylvester uses his story of triumph over tribulation as well, as the skills he has learned over the years, to invest into the community. This is done through mentoring, life coaching, and basketball skills training to help take students and athletes to the next level.
